FAQ
Japan travel questions, answered clearly
The questions travelers ask most before booking a trip with us.
How far ahead should we book?
Spring cherry blossom, autumn foliage, ski season, and major festival trips are best planned 9-12 months ahead. Simpler private trips can often be arranged with less notice.
Can you handle dietary requirements?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher-style, allergy-aware, and medical dietary notes should be shared early so hotels, guides, and restaurants can be briefed.
Do tours require a deposit?
Most group and private bookings can be held with a partial deposit, with final payment due closer to departure. Exact terms are confirmed when you book.
How do I pay?
Payment is by card or a secure payment link that our team sends you directly once your trip is confirmed — there's no online checkout on the site itself.
Are rail passes always included?
Not always. We compare rail passes with point-to-point tickets and choose the option that best fits the route.
Can you arrange accessible travel?
Yes. We assess hotels, stations, transfers, walking distances, guide pacing, and realistic daily flow before confirming the route.
Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Japan?
Yes. Indian nationals need a tourist visa to enter Japan. We provide the document checklist and application guidance as part of every booking, and the process typically takes 5-7 working days once your documents are ready.
Do you book international flights?
Flights are optional and can be arranged through our flight partner, or you're welcome to book your own.
